Bamboo at Sunrise

‘Bamboo at Sunrise’ originally came from close observational paintings of berry, bamboo and blossom branches. I kept the composition simple and place them within a setting influenced by Japanese art which I love. It is one of ten in a second series of Japanese inspired watercolours of nature and wildlife. This collection has been inspired by my love of nature and I hope it reminds people of the importance and beauty of nature and wildlife for our physical and mental wellbeing.

Other artworks in this series include ‘Blossom and Butterflies,’ ‘Blossom at Sunrise‘ and ‘Kingfisher on Bamboo at Sunrise.’
