‘Road in Yorkshire’ was inspired by the artist Norman Acroyd, who is known for his atmospheric watercolours and etchings. I focussed on atmosphere which I feel can often be enhanced with a limited or monochrome palette. I also used a range of photos of Yorkshire roads as inspiration.
